Snow Day Holiday

When we got up this morning there was about 12 inches of snow all over. I had to go to the post office and it was quite interesting to see how people dealt with it. Everyone is supposed to shovel in front of one's house... well nearly everyone does... except in front of our house. R. put the shovel out and we all saw it and thought : "oh that's a nice shovel". R. went a bit mad at us tonight and did it.
I saw as well a man spreading salt like he was feeding the birds.
Anyway a long story to say that the children had the day off from school and could enjoy the snow in the parks.
