I came back from Orléans on the Sunday following Christmas as I had several appointments with French Help Services clients and I was off again on the 30th. Some friends from Lille and I we had rent a gîte in Toscany - between Perugia and Sienna. They arrived there by car a few days before I did. And in any case as I love the train I chose the quickest way : TGV to Dijon via Lyon and then overnight train direct to Firenze. I left Montpellier at 4:00 p.m. and arrived in Firenze the following morning around 7:00. I caught a train to Perugia (2 hours on top) where I met my friends.
