Yesterday was "President's Day". It's a Bank Holiday although according to people around me it is and it isn't depending on your boss... See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/President's_Day for some definition.
Brooklyn Botanic garden was among the public places opened on this day. I went back to it and spent most of my time indoors... I mean in the conservatory where it's nice and warm and you can have a bite in their "terrace café". For more info and photos see www.bbg.org/
