Monday we went round Newcastle with a Blue Badge Guide on board our coach. We had lunch at the Laings Gallery Cafeteria. I chose not to visit the Art Gallery but instead to walk to the Civic Centre and back. We then headed for Seaton Delaval Hall. It's the latest National Trust's acquisition and therefore we were among the 1st groups to visit it. They treated us like VIPs and we had a lot of extra information on what's works are going to be done there in the years to come.
Tuesday - last day - we stopped on our way at Washington. It's a village with a lot of history linked with the U.S.A.

Very nice volunteers from National trust welcomed us in the Old Hall with the Geordie accent. The visit included a lunch with local food.
We traveled back to Nottingham in the afternoon.
All in all it has been a very pleasant trip thanks to the dedicated Nottingham Centre National Trust Committee.
