I had the day "off" to do a bit more on this blog, to write down the postcards and to do some shopping. I went for lunch at the basement of Galeries Lafayettes on Friederichstrasse. Their food court is unbelievable by it variety and quality. Specialised counters linked with small restaurants. I had my meal at "La Canebière", a seafood place obviously... Very nice indeed ! I then did the shopping - I wrote down the postcards in Marseille - and afterwards had a walked in Friederichstrasse area before making my way back to the B & B. Uhland 4 met up there to collect their lugage - we had only one key for the outside building door on this last day - and went off to the airport by train.
We were back in Nottingham just before midnight.
All in all it has been a very pleasant trip. Many thanks to Uhland 4 and the all gang.
