Alfons Mucha (1860-1939) is one of those artists whom you know without knowing him. Mucha is famous for his Theater Posters (Sarah Bernhardt...) and drawings for ads (Nestlé...). This exhibition is fairly comprehensive over all his works who are actually very varied. Alfons Mucha was from Moravia (nowadays a region of Czechoslovakia) but he lived many years in Paris where at some point he shared an apartment with Paul Gauguin.
