State College History

State College is right in the middle of Pensylvania state. University was first created in the years 1850s. The story goes that they chose this spot in the middle of nowhere so that students wouldn't get distracted from their studies. Now the city welcomes every year approximately 40 000 students. Most of the streets and avenues bear the names of the former presidents of the university.
