New Year's Eve in Toscany

I came back from Orléans on the Sunday following Christmas as I had several appointments with French Help Services clients and I was off again on the 30th. Some friends from Lille and I we had rent a gîte in Toscany - between Perugia and Sienna. They arrived there by car a few days before I did. And in any case as I love the train I chose the quickest way : TGV to Dijon via Lyon and then overnight train direct to Firenze. I left Montpellier at 4:00 p.m. and arrived in Firenze the following morning around 7:00. I caught a train to Perugia (2 hours on top) where I met my friends.
We spent our 1st day together visiting this City.

On our last day together we visited 2 nearby towns. The next day - on their way back to France - my friends dropped me at a station on hour from Firenze.

And I spent the last 2 days in Firenze before returning to Montpellier by the same tracks : overnight train to Dijon and TGV via Lyon.

The Region Languedoc Roussillon has created "Maisons" abroad to help out French businesses to sell their products and services. While I'll be in New York I'm hoping to get some help from them to promote French Help Services.
